This new fire is totally awsome.

The Lord is good and His Love endures forever. It is truly amazing how for such a long time believers can talk the talk but for some reason not walk the walk. For a long time now I have been a christian who decides it necessary to live this luke warm life. This is the realization that I have come to. Who is it for me to take the gift that cost my Saviour His life and treat it like some play toy that is here today and gone tomorrow. Who is it for any of us to do that. I love the Lord with all my heart and all my strength and all my mind. I place this post to challenge myself daily and to also challenge my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to daily take up His cross and go forth bearing fruit that will enhance the Kingdom of God. My goal is to be able to get on here daily and post thoughts that the Lord has shared with me. I want to thank my sister in Christ Missy who has encouraged me to not give up the good fight to see that as many people come to the Lord as possible. And you know what for those that wonder the purpose of life, well there it is. To go forth and see as many people come to the Lord as possible. Praise be to God.

Blessings upon you and yours

Summer is over....I am back to a committed blogging season!

Well the summer is over and I am back to my regular blogging season. I must say for summer, we haven't had much of one here in New Brunswick. It has been full of rain, and cold weather. There were some days and weekends that were sunny and hot, and for that I am thankful. Mostly because they landed on weekends that I had off, and had something planned. I didn't to much big stuff, but still had a blast in what I did. I am still working on getting a digital camera so that I can download pics. Joy and I went to St. Martins for the long weekend in May. It was fun. When we got there, they booked the wrong night for us, so instead of staying in a cabin, we stayed in a fifth wheeler for the same price. It was really awesome. Than we went to the Fundy Trail and had a nice afternoon of walking. We ended the weekend by going to St. John and having dinner and a movie. In July we were apart of Ceri Davies now Fletcher, wedding. We drove Troy Carruthers down to Bangor to fly down to his last part of seminary. We stayed in Brewer for the night at the Tappers. It so awesome to see them again. They have to beautiful kids. When were coming back across the border, we were rear ended but there was no damage done, so we kept going. We stopped in Grand Manaan to finish our weekend. That was ablast. I must say I have done quite a bit of stuff. Well I will be posting hopefully every day so until than keep it real.

The desire has been re-ignited

Well I have come to a simple but overwhelming conclusion. There is no sense in sitting around and feeling sorry for myself when I stumble in my walk with God. God can use no one when they are down on the ground. I mean honestly what can someone do when they are laying down on the ground due to a fall ? Absolutely nothing. It is time that I and all Christians take the stand that satan has no dominion over us. How simple is this. We were given the freedom and authority to tell satan to leave us alone. We have the choice to resist temptation. All we have to do is say the simple but very profound word NO!!!! I have decided that enough is enough. No more head games, no more lies, no more boasting or building myself up. I have decided wholeheartdly that I am forever a child of God, and a man after his own heart. I don't write this to get pats on the back and way to go's, but rather to make that public declaration that I am a child of God and there is no turning back for me. Praise the Lord for the unlimited chances He gives us to come to this very point of surrender. Praise be to God, for He reigns on high. The only thing I ask is for your continued prayer as I discipline myself on this comitted journey. In turn I will pray for all those that I know and all those who I do not know. May God bless you and keep you safe.

Sincerly

NEWSBOYS IN SAINT JOHN

That is right! Newsboys were in Saint John last night(May 20). What an amazing show that was. I have never been to a Christian concert before. Now mind you that I did not know all the words to any of the songs, however I did know the words to the "Breakfast" song and enough words to all the other songs to have fun with it. The lights were awesome, and it so full of energy. I had a blast. My ears were ringing afterwords, and I could barely speak, my throat was soooooooooooo sore! But it was all worth it. Peter (the lead singer) had a very powerfull message about not worrying about the past because there is nothing you can do to change it, and no need to worry about the future because God is already there. Just learn the lessons from the mistakes that you have made in the past and apply them to the present. Sorry I have no pics but I have no digitial camera. Well gotta go for now

Okay I promise to not become just another blog wanna-be

Okay here we are, almost a month since my last post. I am hereby promising to not become one of those people who blog once in a blue moon, just to say that they have a blog like everyone else. On that note, an update. Things are keeping busy with Joy and I. Joy just finished her seminar and is almost finished her seminar post work. Things are keeping busy with me in the life of town council. We have just begun our busy summer season, of road work and downtown beautification. We have also just approved 11 murals to be painted on several locations around the town. Next year we will be approving 16 more. Work is coming along on the new Superstore, and the new Walmart. Sussex is starting to grow. Thank you to everyone who has visited my blog. Pass it along to your friends and co-workers. I hope to come up with some interesting things to post on my blog. If you have any ideas, just let me know. Well Chow for Now

Regards:

My first posting on my real first ever blog....YEAH!!!!

Well needless to say I am brandnew to this blogging concept. So for those that know me, and those who happen to come across my blog somehow, a bit about me.

I am 25 years old and I live in Sussex New Brunswick, Canada. I got married to the most beautiful women in the whole world on December 3, 2005. Her name is Joy. She will be 30 on May 31st. I am Sales Rep/Rental Department guy for Fawcett lumber in Petitcodiac. I was elected to the Town Council for Sussex in May of 2004. I absolutley love politics and drives my wife nuts. LOL. I am still trying to find myself and what it is that the Lord wants me to do. Maybe I should have had that settled before I got married, but little to late for that. Well so much to say. But for now that should do it. Well, happy blogging
